Dublin

I'm glad we only had an afternoon and evening in Dublin. In my opinion, if you're going to Ireland, spend most of your time in the countryside and on the coast! We were still glad to see a bit of Dublin before catching our flight to Belgium the next morning though.

 

We visited the oldest church in Ireland, Christ Church Cathedral, and then took a tour of the Dublin Castle, where we learned more about Ireland's history. The rebellions that took place before Ireland achieved independence from the UK were quite intense!

 

That night, we got to take advantage of the free BBQ our hostel puts on every Thursday night and then went to the oldest pub in Ireland, The Brazen Head, for a pint of Guiness and more traditional Irish music!
